You can argue the books may have been written by a psychopath or future something, but It's not accurate to say that it was written by a mass murderer.
And again playing devil's advocate like I said - if J. K. Rowling suddenly went on a shooting spree, the Harry Potter books would have to be considered to be written by a mass murderer by this logic - and who's to say she won't snap at some point and hasn't written some secret unpublished manifesto.

I dunno about any of this....didn't he gather his SS henchman while in prison and consolidate his Nazi power there? I say if he was planning mass extinction of the Jews, which he was, then gathering people/power around him to do so I would label him a mass murderer. Planning on commiting murder counts as a crime even if you don't act on it.
Also: OJ Simpson is always called the murderer OJ even when referring to his pre-murders past as a football player. Maybe that's just the media tho.
