As you are likely aware, since Chaturbate began offering Bitcoin ("BTC") as a payment method in May of 2018, we have charged a flat $3 per transaction fee. Today, Thursday, 29 April 2021, Coinpayments raised their Bitcoin ("BTC") transaction fee to 0.0005 BTC for every Bitcoin payment request. In view of this increase and the volatility of the USD to BTC rate, beginning 1 May 2021, all BTC payout requests will incur Coinpayments' new 0.0005 BTC fee. Using the rate today, 29 April 2021, the fee in USD would be $26.79.
You can view the current USD equivalent of the 0.0005 BTC fee by checking a currency conversion website such as
https://currencymatrix.com/convert/0.0005-btc-to-usd; however, as noted below, due to the volatility of BTC, the rate in effect at the time your transaction is completed may vary from the time your transaction was requested. Please note that the fee that Coinpayments charges may vary. For instance, the fee was previously 0.0004 BTC, then Saturday 24 April 2021 they announced the new fee would be 0.0007 BTC only to update the rate today, 29 April 2021, to 0.0005 BTC.
