Good words Richard. Life can be taken away from us, and those we care about, unexpectedly.
A few years back I attended a memorial for a young girl, who was maybe 20-21. Never smoked, or worked in a chemical factory, etc, yet cancer killed her. Then I think about an ex girlfriends father. Since his early teens, he consistently smoked two packs of cigarettes every day of his life. In his high 50s he was actively training soldiers for winter exercises, and was required to have an annual health inspection. His lungs were so clean, as if he never smoked. I will never understand it.
