Well that's your 'under specced' component I was talking about.
Not to worry. Just do what I did and grab a 4TB SSD (
MY ONE) and plug it into your motherboard. Simples
A m.2 nvme drive for your OS (Directly interfacing with your motherboard) would also have been nice, but not essential. A 4TB drive for games probably is though
FWIW, in mine I have a 500GB m.2 for OS, essential programs (DaVinci Resolve etc) a 3TB 'old fashioned' drive that I use to store data and backups and stuff that doesn't need to be accessed very often, and the Samsung I linked above for my games. XBox Pass for PC and Steam automatically store my games on the 4TB and it all works flawlessly
