The founder describes herself as Marxist. The group itself is not Marxist and does not pursue Marxist (communist) objectives. BLM is a national anti-racism movement broadly supported by Americans, few of whom would identify themselves as Marxist.

Anti racism is not against racism. It states “the only way to fix past discrimination is present discrimination. The only way to fix present discrimination is future discrimination. All these “critical theories” came out of the frankfurt school which is marxist.
