I never had the entire chamber go off but I've had 2 rounds go off at once. Everybody uses grease these days. Grease stops the spark going to another chamber. Think of loading your cap and ball like packing a parachute. Pay strick attention to the job.
I've heard guys say they have had loaded cylinders in the gun safe for as much as 3 years and they are reliable.
