I get where you're coming from.
You're a nice person that just wants the best for others and that's very admirable.
However you're talking about a sin tax and pornography isn't considered to be virtuous.
Governments fuck everything up that they touch and you only need to look back at
the Covid fiasco to see how incompetent they are. So I will
NOT SUPPORT any form of
government taxation or regulation because ultimately it's going to cost me more money
and handicap me in business.
With regards to social problems,
I'm an alcoholic (
18 years sober) and I can honestly say that no one forced the booze
down my throat. I can equally say that despite all the people that tried to get me to stop
that that it was only me that got me to quit drinking. Believe me that the only person
that can fix anyone's problems are yourself.
- No amount of government rules or taxes can fix obesity (or addiction, etc)
- No amount of money can fix obesity.
- No amount of healthy food can fix obesity.
- No amount of education can fix obesity.
- No amount of sympathy can fix obesity.
- No amount of family or friends can fix obesity.
So when it comes to fat people it means that until they decide to lose the weight and get
healthy.... They're going to stay fat.
The solution isn't to change the way the world sees them... It's that they have to chose
to change the way they see themselves.
