What doesn't make sense is to hold BOTH of them back, for over a week, in order for it to be just one van trip to my house.

FWIW, where I live, one van serves my area. I never get two separate delivery's from amazon logistics in the same day...
Amazon loses money. they only make money on Prime. logic is irrelevant

here in Thailand they have Lazada and every seller has to handle their own fulfillment and delivery. we had a $2 keyboard cover driven in from 3 hours away with a $3 delivery fee lol. the petrol cost more.

i think we're still in stage 1 of this shop at home revolution..
