It's like a stereotype of a movie AI, polite, calm and rational even if/when trying to murder someone.
They have to mess up the edges a bit to be convincingly human, literally in the case of images, which are too pixel perfect and plastic looking.
It's not even necessarily that complicated to convince someone they're talking to a real human, depending on the who the person is and what they want.
The
"AI" called Lenny that people use to waste the time of telemarketers is very funny, but the remarkable thing is it's not interacting with what the caller is saying, just repeating lines on a loop. Even after repeating the same lines some callers still don't get it.
