I've never tried &tag[]=tag1&tag[]=tag2&tag[]=tag3

or &tag=tag1&tag.=tag2&tag.=tag3 (even without punctuation)

I don't know if either is legal. But whatever, the result would need to meet the expectations of the script on the other end of the URL.
