I will comment step by step:

(1) Ask: what is your budget? (Please tell me why I want to afford whatever it is; don't make me think a special inflated price is being formulated. I want to be shown value I could pay for and, no, the salesman would like dough is not a feature. ) ”

I dont encounter such question often, but when i do, then i get impression how someone is "fishing" in order to boost their price. Kind a like chinese tea house scammers, where they ask howmuch money you earn, and then based on that send you to tea house according to your money level

(2) Don't bother to send a sell sheet when I've expressed interest.
This happen rare, must be someone very lazy to do such thing.

(3) Tell me the price on the sell sheet is not the real price, and actually it is more, because of some reason that is not on the sell sheet.
This happening with private health care, where overall price is always bigger then what you been quoted.

(4) Ask to "jump on a call" instead of sending me the rates.
(5) Ask to "jump on a Zoom" instead of sending me the rates.

I would also add "let's meet on conference". This is totally unnecessary, if we already have communication channel established, then no need to use other types. Conference is for meeting new people which usually cant be contacted with regular ways.

And when i do accept such thing , then they just repeat completely same thing what we already discussed.

(6) Try to interrogate me about every aspect of my business, when I'm just trying to buy a booth or a banner or whatever. If I'm not querying to buy consulting, this is, at best, a time-waster.

Well this depending on what kind of service is offered , as some service require more info in order to give proper quote/advice/whatever. For example, if i would try to sell you hosting, i would ask you to tell me how much bandwidth you burn every month.

(7) Act like they have no recollection of me, when they've hung out with me at events on multiple occasions. This just makes me question the whole value of even showing up to conferences, much less getting spendy about it.

Well, not everyone have good memory plus hard to keep it when you talk with many people at once. But i did experienced same, i even got spammed by dude which earlier year on conference i told to GTFO :D But there was also some which i did not remember either - and i did met with them before as i had visit card.

Bizarrely, these are all real examples of salespeople in our space. I'm not perfect and I don't expect other people to be perfect, but FFS. What are your peeves when someone is trying to sell you?

Well, i could add behavior from affiliate account managers - one of most common questions is, what countries do i cover. This is pointless question if you are media buyer affiliate, as then you can send traffic to any geo.
