Yes, you may be correct, historically we are film producers but " graduated" from R rated erotic thrillers, to more adult fare when the VHS and then DVD market collapsed and we started out VOD site. Yet, we still keep the movie look for each project.
WE do not spend 400 to 500 grand on a movie as we used to and take 18 days to shoot it, that does not work for about 20 years. We need to be more frugal and efficient.
We rely on a repeat business and the word of mouth. We do not use ( and we do not know anyway) any tricks or schemes to drive customers to our site. All we know how to do is to script it, shoot it, post it. We used to "pray" to Alexa and at one point we were ranked at low 100,000's but since Alexa crashed, we just go by the seat of our pants.
But it works for us, it is quite safe and certain as i have said above.
