sure, if russia tries to send a fleet across an ocean we'd obliterate it. but overall, over the last 30 years our military has been steadily re-tooled into a force designed specifically to overwhelm numerically and technologically inferior opponents while sustaining minimal casualties.

we're gonna need to seriously increase recruitment and artillery production if we want to fight a ground war in Europe.
