Yes and no, have you ever gone down the Lance Armstrong rabbit hole? He was 100% talented as all hell, but it is undeniable that he did cheat.
The Lance Armstrong story, when you really research it and dig into the situation at the time, required his entire life to basically revolve around this completely false image, and it worked!!! Holy fuck it WORKED!!! 7 TIME CHAMP!!! If you watched cycling at all during this time, his speed was incredible, like a completely different animal than everyone else.
He was the DeeCash of cycling, just completely out-pacing everyone on how to make money.
