Dude don't hate me because I'm smarter than you. Hate yourself for letting your Cognitive Bias and Cognitive Dissonance get the better of you. If you're feeling down on yourself because of cognitive biases and dissonance, remember it's pretty common to get caught in this kind of mental loop. One helpful trick is to start noticing when you're being too hard on yourself or only seeing the negatives. This is your mind playing tricks on you. Talking to a therapist, especially one who knows about cognitive-behavioral therapy, can be super useful to untangle these thoughts. Also, try to be a bit kinder to yourself, just like you would be to a good friend. And hey, learning a bit about these biases can make you more aware of them, which is already a big step. You're not alone in this, and with some effort and support, you can definitely work through it! I believe in you! You can do it! #CanadiansCare.
