I am looking for a part-time (60-80 hours a month) WordPress website tester and manager.
The primary job of the selected individual will be to work closely with myself and the development team to test new WordPress websites and/or features to make sure that they fit the acceptance criteria.
Once a site goes online, the individual will likely be responsible for monitoring site performance and dealing with content and/or visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Test new WordPress sites based on acceptance criteria.
- Identify and report bugs.
- Collaborate with the development team to come up with requirements for new features.
- Manage and update website content and plugins.
- Monitor site and performance metrics, make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and answer email from visitors when needed.
- Manage users as needed.
- Moderate comments as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing and testing WordPress sites in the adult industry.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to be online and work in the team time zone (UTC/GMT +2 - Amsterdam time).
- Ability to join our 9:00 M-Th stand ups and other meetings as required.
- Good internet connection.
- Comfortable with video chat.
- Are a freelance individual and not part of, or are an agency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and adult payment processors.
- Familiarity with CMS other than WordPress.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
