I'm a diehard Skype user, so this really upsets me. That being said, I'm consulting with and recommending all of my clients move to individual Slack or Discord servers, or, if they want a more controlled experience, self-hosting Jitsi meet, to manage business discussion.
After that, handling individual personal conversations will need to be done through Teams, Telegram, Whatsapp (possibly, we'll see.)
If Signal allows the encryption mechanism to work on more than one phone and a single linked Desktop by May, that will be my personal preference.
