Gotta say it, but credit where credit is due - And 'Credit' plays a big part in this!
I recently decided to upgrade to a Pixel 10 Pro XL - But it was nearly £1200.00 ! EEEKKK!
However Google gave me a hundred pound discount off the bat, so that's good - They took my old phone (That didn't work properly - Hence the upgrade decision) for
WAY over market value... Leaving me with a bill of about £600.00 to pay - So already half price!
Then they give me £100 store credit, so I can get a magsafe charger with stand for my desk, a pack of screen protectors, and a nice clear case to protect my phone...
They have also given me a years free 'Gemini Pro AI Service' as well. Although that in itself isn't that useful (TO ME) it also includes
2TB of cloud storage! I was getting to the end of my 'free 15GB' so that's a deal - Its worth about £288.00
So with the store credit and the 2TB of storage taken in, its like Im only paying about £300 for the phone - But they have also extended me 2 years interest free credit to pay it off! Meaning that despite having had the phone for nearly a month now, I've yet to make a single payment on it!
Of course, having it over 2 years, means 2 'Tax years' so I can claim a little bit of 'expenses' each year... Sweet!
Like I say, I'm seriously impressed with Google! Infact, I've saved so much money, I've just ordered myself a new Fridge Freezer! Happy Days
BTW, Phone is utter shit of course, but hey! Wasn't it cheap??? Who doesn't like a bargain???
