Yeah they will all be digital only soon, so they can keep a closer eye on all us peasants!

Halifax closed my account, no reason given. I'm with HSBC, they aren't taking cheques because they will not clear before the 12 Dec 2025 cut-off date.

ACH is an American thing, UK banks won't accept it. There was a work-around some years ago with ACH, I think it was via a Western Union account, but I doubt that still works.
