I know that's the rule for polite conversation but I was curious if any GFYers have ever faced the moral dilemna of porn versus religion.
I have not, and I was raised in a fanatical Pentecostal church (from which I was summarily excused when I was barely 12 years old). Never ask a fanatic "Who made God?" I guess.
But my family was very devout when I was younger: my mother spoke in
tongues and we gave to the church until it hurt. I was in the adult bible study classes when I was little and I interpreted and explained the significance and meaning of the books more thoroughly than most adults.
Still, I grew up "bad."
