when I was a kid I went because of my sinuses, asthma and other nose/lungs related shit..
she would put those freakin' needles all over my HEAD, NOSE, FOREHEAD' BACK, LEGS' etc...
the memories are horrible hehe
I hated it, was taking manganese and other shit like that at the same time....
I thought it didn't work, but I no longer have any of these probs anymore... it' snot painful if I can remmember correctly, just REALLY bugging..
