How exactly does it not make me look good?? Helping someone is a bad thing now?

By your logic if I got lets say 100 donations (which is not the case) at $1 each that ends it? A lot of the money I gave to my sister was out of MY pockets. If this makes people think bad of me then so be it. I'm doing what I can to help and no one can stop me. Do you think I like asking people for money? Hell no I don't. If I had enough money I would give it all to them so I wouldn't have to "bother" people to help.

If people don't want to help that's fine. You're not required to but to say in your own way that I'm "over doing it" (not words you used but that's pretty much what you meant) doesn't make me sound bad. It makes the person saying it sound heartless.

I know that I'm not the only one on the planet in a situation like this but you can't tell me that you would not do the same thing. People have asked me to keep them updated so that's what I'm doing. So what you're saying is you want me to just give up and let my family fend for themselves. Sorry, I'm not a prick and will do no such thing. If people hate me because of this that's life but I am not doing a single thing wrong.
