We don't need a pro-porn President or a pro-porn Attorney General; we just need people who respect the 1st Ammendment. We just need rational leaders who do not govern based on religious doctrines. Ditto for the Supreme Court Justices they appoint. All the adult industry needs is to be NOT persecuted. A politican simply NOT being aggressively ANTI-porn is good enough.
Janet Reno did not neglect to prosecute "obscenity" because she loved porn, she didn't prosecute because she knew those resources could be better spent fighting real crimes with real victims. John Kerry wouldn't win a single vote crusading against porn, because mainstream americans aren't bothered by porn, and the radical conservatives still care more about making abortion illegal and forcing prayer in school, so they're not going to support a pro-choice secularist.
