Well . . . let's just say that my past has not exactly left me in a position to question anyone else's behavior. You name it, I probably did it. I think it would be safe to say that the list of inebriants I haven't used would be much shorter than the ones I have. I survived . . . barely.
These days I may have an occasional toke or drink, but I like being in control.
People go to conventions and gatherings for different reasons. I go to conduct business, other people go to party. I don't feel it is in my best interest to go to a gathering and get fucked up, because I don't feel that will give clients or potential clients confidence that I will give them the service they deserve and should expect.
For those that go to party, I am the last person to get judgmental. The only thing I say is don't drive.
