I was just wondering why you never hear about more actual fights at these shows, since so many people get riled up at each other beyond the boiling point. When someone is pretty much all but posting death threats at you, you'd think some funky shit would go down in the city at least a few times by now.
Probably a few assault charges too, you'd think.

while I generally agree with you there must come into play the type of industry we deal with. I would approxmate 80-90 percent of people and sponsors we deal with we will never meet in person therefore it is what it is...I seriously doubt half the people who talk shit would even show up at a convention let alone make enough money to afford time away from the comp. One good thing I can say about this industry is it's lack of forgiveness for cheaters and spammers. This type of self governing backed up with complete FACTS is what helps us all in the longrun know who and what we are dealing with and make more money.
