There are some programs which can convert .swf files to their source .fla files. The source could have been modified to change gravity, or more simply remove the foul line.
OR
They could have looked through the compiled .swf file and found where the foul line variable was, and then modified it, to push it further back, therefore letting them get a greater distance.
OR I could be wrong, but I don't think if I asked they'd tell me. Though I'll ask anyways.

Yes, i've done tried that too.. I could see the ripped swf file, but it was on my local machine... I mean you can't edit the file online, right?
