Liberals or conservatives are not usually that far apart on the spectrum anyhow, it is the ultra liberals and ultra conservatives that are really at odds.

and ultra right starts to veer towards left (and vice versa) when it comes to issues like globalisation and the like too.
I think these labels can be silly though.. I mean most people would agree with some positions of all the parties.
