eh... I used a gun a fair bit on my grandfathers farm growing up.. taking out pests and whatnot.. but I am very anti-gun.. farmers need a decent rifle to take care of a fox or something.. but I, in town or the city have fuck all need for one. Then again australian cities are far safer than american ones.. so it's kinda a moot point.. theres no need for one here.. but if I lived in detroit or wherever my attitude might be different. the question is whether america's obsession with gun culture means there is a greater likelyhood of being attacked with one because so many people own them.. including the "bad guys", or whether it's other cultural differences.
