Hello Everyone,

I would first like to say what an excellent site you have here. Very Informative, I'm kind of a "long time reader, first time poster" as I have been very busy building my own site QueenslandGirls.com.au (I cant post URLs until I've made 30 posts)

QueenslandGirls is a site that is aimed at the Niche of Young girls in Australia combined with some of the amazing natural landscapes that are here.

At the moment QueenslandGirls is free to sign up while I finish off the last few features of the site. The site (when finished) will include:

Queensland Girls Image Gallery - Galleries containing 40 - 70 images.

Queensland Girls TV (Videos) - Special Behind the Scenes Videos of photo shoots and Interviews with the models.

Queensland Girls Magazine - An on-line magazine that will be released monthly that can be read on most portable devices.

Queensland Girls Community - A forum which is designed to bring members together and talk about the site, be involved in competitions and also be able to just talk in general.

Queensland Girls Store - A shopfront selling QueenslandGirls Merchandise like Stubby Coolers, Calenders, stickers, mouse pads, signed posters etc.


When the site is completed I aim for it to be cheap with year long sign ups costing $40 - $50 and many special promotions such us "sign up for 1 year and receive free *something*"

Currently the site has 38 members and it receives around 50 unique hits a day. All current "free members" will receive 1 month free starting from when the site turns to a paysite.

I have several questions to ask the general population of this site like "How do I get more traffic" but ill save that for another thread and when its a little closer to completion.

Please stop by have a look and let me know what you think of it. I have spent quite some time on the layout and navigation of the site...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the kind words about my site... It was developed 100% by me and has taken over 12 months of planning.

Yes, site was down for a little while this morning while I did some updates, i don't like people seeing images not loading correctly. I also the I increased image quality, they now have a height of 1080px

I have another 27 photosets to put up and about 20 behind the scenes videos... I just need to finish editing it all...

Affiliate programs... I don't understand what that is... Anyone care to elaborate?

I also just bought QueenslandGirls.com so protect the brand. It is now set up as an auto redirect to the .au

Ill just keep posting here as I update it...

affiliate programs are something you have on your site that other webmasters and folks sign up too to promote your site. They sign up, and you give them pics, banners, vids etc so they can promote you in exchange for generally a % of the sales they make for you

lots of adult sites have them, check the bottom of the page. it's always like $webmasters$ or something.

yeah when you've got paying members its a good idea, make lots more money + traffic.
i'm not setting up mine for another few months, testing out my own marketing stuff first.

sure go with affiliate program, nice looking site and i bet there are people here who will have traffic for it! but having your banner on spot on my site where i can make maybe less but still some money with site that i can promote, you know what i mean ... have luck and let us know!

Everything is going really well! Quite a few Affiliates, getting alot of conversions. The FHGs are working well too.

Plenty of new content in the next coming weeks.

Hopefully things keep going up from here

Yesterday I did $150 :D but once you get a taste you need more!!

I haven't invested all that much just Hosting, Domains and some models. Alot of the girls wanted a portfolio, I told them I'd do it for free if I could use the photos. Everyone's happy and some have even come back for a 2nd shoot. Some of them are even getting involved in the community posting mobile pics and starting topics.

Time is the big one, I've been working on this in my spare time for about 8 months. It was slow going and a few times i was close to chucking it in, but I am now very glad I didn't...

Now the hardest thing for me is advertising and getting good quality traffic. Id really like some good quality affiliates (I pay 60%) so I can focus back on content production.

Right now the daily average is about $20 with spikes between $80 and $150... For some reason the yearly subscription offer is one of the most popular.

Well its been a busy Holiday Season for Queensland Girls.

We just got back from a trip to Thailand. We took a handful of our Queensland Girls Models and Staff over for New Years on Koh Phi Phi. Was great! Topless Snorkelling, Nude Fire Shows and plenty of partying the nights away on the beach.

Hopefully things keep going this well for us and everyone else in 2013
