New n00b on the block...
Hi there, I am glad I found this site because, as the title already says, I am a total n00b when it comes to the adult industry.
I have read some interesting topics on this forum, but would be more than pleased if some of you could push me in the right direction. I registered a nice domain name about half a year ago. I believe in the strength of the domain name, but have been struggling since. First thing I did was putting up a 'tube'-site, but that didn't really fit the name, so I bought myself software to setup a webcam-site. Pretty soon I had a few girls who registered as a model, but I had a problem: no visitors. What happened of course is that I lost the models, so I recently registered as an affiliate at AWEmpire and now have their whitelabel program running on my domain. My questions: - what do you think of my domain name: hardcore-sexcams.com? - does any of you have experience with the AWEmpire system and is it any good, or are there better programs? - what is the best way to get traffic to my site? - who also had some hard times starting up their site and what changed it for the better? Ok, all seems to be running well, no though....
Tryng out some methods to get some more hits. Youtubing seems to work well, as does the x-tube-posting.... Too bad it seems that nobody here has some experience with awempire or any other 'white-label'-program.... Well....Cyall |

monologue
So, it seems this thread is turning into a monologue...
Anyway: the traffic to my website is not a lot, but at least it seems to be rising. My youtube-channel seems to do well. Some vids already have 20k+ views. Yesterday I made my first $ and I decided to invest it in buying some traffic and I hope this will be beneficial. For those interested: I will keep you updated! |

Social-traffic...
Traffic is still kinda low so I'm trying to get more traffic anyway I can.
I read on this forum that social-traffic doesn't really convert, but I think it really depends on how you use the social-sites. Anyway, I started using a 'twitter-bot' today and have it targeting tweets containing things like #ImHorny, #wannawatch etc. For this I'm using Yahoo-pipes in combination with twitterfeed(dot)com and what it does is reply-ing on those tweeds with the following txt: 'Get 10% discount on your 1st purchase on Hardcore-Sexcams.com by using this couponcode: 'cam4cash'' Maybe I'm wrong and it doesn't help me getting more traffic, but time will tell. At least this is running without me having to do anything. Another thing I did was setting up the website Cam4Cash(dot)org. Because I'm using a whitelabel-program on Hardcore-Sexcams(dot)com, I'm not able to work with things like link-exchanges. So I do this on my Cam4Cash-site. |

As the title of this thread was already saying: Im a n00b. To give you an example: It was just recently that I discovered the phenomenon 'hardlink-trading'. After reading more about it and understanding it's importance I signed-up at Linkspun and started link-trading myself about two days ago. Another thing I did was starting some blogs on sites like Pornblogspace and Smutblog, this to be able to trade more links and of course also to put up some promotions and links for my own domains. I now have them setup like this: Hardcore-Sexcams.com (AWE whitelabel) CamLive.org (AWE whitelabel) Cam4Cash.org (Wordpress-blog) and a few subdomain-blogs on adult-blogsites To bad I can not find a nice program or system to add new posts to multiple blogs at once. Maybe someone here has any suggestions on this? As two of my cam-sites are whitelabel, there is just so much I can do SEO-wise. I also looked a bit into advertising, but since I just do not have much money to invest, I'm not going there. At least: not for now. The same goes for 'buying traffic'. One thing I'll do is having the Hardcore-Sexcams-domain to focus more on Hardcore and Fetish cams, instead of showing your average camgirls as it is doing now. I'm still thinking about what my next step should be in order to get more traffic and how to having it to convert more. So any is welcome! |
