Company formations - choosing a name
Hello, this is my first post, so please be gentle
I am building a platform for video content, and need to get all my company details and billing in order. Is there is particular way to name a company which prevents masses of chargebacks? Should I name my company something nondescript, like ABC Limited, or is there a particular method? |

Something innocent sounding. Avoid anything that will ring alarm bells when the husband or wife reads the credit card bill.

Sure, that's a given. What I mean to say is, if I call the company something like "Independent Arts Limited", will customers fail to make the link when they see their bank statements, and chargeback? Or will it suffice.

The charge will appear on your credit card statement as "Independent Arts Limited".

Yes, I realise this. I'm just trying to see if there is an industry best practice for naming convention.
