Raising money via Bitcoin markets
Anyone have experience in this? IPO? Interested in sharing positive/negatives?

Pros
- Can't be chargedback - Buy cheap and sell when price goes high - Faster and easier than PayPal. - $100 Worth of Bitcoins equal to roughly $125 PayPal or in hand cash. - Pretty easy to implement - Many web hosting companies and domain providers no accept Bitcoins so you can remain 100% anonymous when making a purchase. Cons - Prices can fall down - You do not know who made a transaction on the site unless you use something like Bitpay - If you lose access to your computer wallet then Bitcoins can never be recovered - If you are using an online wallet then you still have ways to get the account back however if the company/website gets shut down then you lose your Bitcoins. - PayPal does not offer protection on Bitcoins - Bitcoins are disallowed in very few countries (Columbia, and India). - Not many porn addicts use Bitcoins even though they know what it is. Reason being is that most porn addicts aren't people who invest in currencies, etc. |
