thoughts on flash banners ruining seo ?
we all know the big seo guys out there say flash is horrible for seo. But is it only when they revolve their whole site around flash....or just ALL flash is bad, no matter what ?
Like what about if it's just a banner or 2 on the site. For like live cam, etc. I'm currently using iframe inplace of flash...but would rather use flash for quality. thoughts? |

They dont ruin your SEO, they say Flash is horrible for SEO but they are talking about sites made in Flash, and that is because Google cant "read" Flash.

Flash for seo is bad because text, images and videos in flash can't be crawled, and indexed.
Some sites have 30% to 50% of traffic from mobile devices, they can't display flash. |
