You raise a good point about the use of the so-called "serial comma" or "Oxford comma" in written English. There is some debate in the subject depending on which country you originate from, whether you are writing something formal or informal, (look there it is!) and whether you are following the Chicago Manual of Style or the AP Stylebook. It doesn't follow any rules - it's Fred Talk, when I speak or write. I make the rules for it, so if anyone ever thinks I'm not using proper grammar or spelling, they're wrong, by default.

Perhaps you spend more time writing and less time getting laid and others spend less time writing and more time getting laid, when you look at it that way who is the fool ?

In all seriousness this pet peeve stuff just needs to be overlooked. We all do business with all types of people with different educational levels, from different countries and cultures. There are far more serious things that we as an industry need to pay attention to when doing business then a few spelling or grammatical errors
