apple said there would be a delay - well they shipped it already .. it is in my town but being held because its not due for delivery for another week

well the closet apple store is an hour away and when i placed the order it said 5-7 business days to ship so i didnt really care but then they sent out an email saying the shipping is now 3-4 weeks - but i guess they still got it out early but its not due to arrive at my hosue yet so fedex is holding the package

I got one without issue, a 32 gig wifi white one. It's great! I'm glad I waited for the 2nd version. The new processor is fast. Have garage band on it, and both my older kids love it. They both also love facetime, (grandma, or even to each other from the Itouch, which belongs to my 4.5 year old, to the ipad etc).

Gave it to my 3 year old yesterday for her birthday. Temped to get one for myself.

A three year old gets an iPad. That's it. I can no longer afford Christmas and birthday presents for children.

I have an iPad 1. Went to go get the 2 but they are sold out at all 10 Apple stores within 50 miles of me. Not enough patience to order it online.

I bought a 1080P projector, WDTV Live, and an AppleTV instead. The iPad will have to wait.
