does any version of icq let you do this.

i know you can do it with trillian, pidgin, etc.

curious if they allow it.

Not sure about current versions, but when I really needed several ICQs working some years ago I found out QIP was the most convenient software for that.

I use trillian and yes it allows it.

The interesting thing is, that on my contact list, I have my other accounts added to myself. This is so when I log into my laptop, I can send ICQ's to my home machine.

This also means when I send myself a message to my other machine, it echos back to the machine I sent it from, and I get a message on the same machine...from myself.

Use Pidgin/Audium, much better than Trillian. Works fine.
