Peter Schiff is predicting eventual $5000+ and he pretty much has called every step of the whole financial disaster.

Who knows.

Anyone remember when it was $400? I remember people saying it would NEVER, EVER hit $1000.

Silver up 4-5 dollars an oz in last week. If you bought 1000 oz last week. You would already be up 5k in a week. Some dealers so desperate they are paying 2 over spot which means up 7k. Better than keeping money in bank

It's quite hard to even get Krugerrands or Vrenelis over here, so the price will go mutch mutch higher. At one point there won't be any coins to buy anymore. I predict 2000$ in 2011 easily. I'm buying at these prices! (in euros)

I would love to know your strategy, since you posted a few days ago for me to "Sell Now " and it's already up 3-4 more dollars since then.

Anytime you buy physical, you pay over spot, so buying a bar, you would have paid $1.5 -3.00 over spot. Coins are much higher. Still a great return, no doubt about it. 2011 American Silver Eagles (1oz) are selling for $55+ on ebay right now, when the spot is only $47 and some change.

SLV calls are making a killing right now. I bought July 50 calls last Friday and added more this week and with my average, I'm up 71% in five days.

Starsky & Mutch?

I think $2000 sounds a bit implausible though.......

Still hovvering around the $1500.

Paul says it will hit $4000 by 2015. On the other hand, Soros sees it as a bubble and sold his entire gold holding.........

So who is right?

Paul vs Soros? Soros is right, Paul is just inflating the price in his own gold holdings.

I don't think he sold all of it, just a large amount. Think I read he's still holding something crazy like a 100 million worth. *vomit*

Peter Schiff is predicting $5000+.

Who really knows?

I like Peter Schiff a lot but his predictions have been short of the mark over the last few years on gold..... well he's been putting higher price than actually what came to fruition if that makes any sense.
