Ideas for mainstream review site?

I'm thinking of making some mainstream review sites, does anyone have any good suggestions on what I should review that would make good sales?

think of what you are going to get the most $$ off of. video games and electronics usually only give a very small amount.

Fat loss products are good, id also check out things like hotels, travel/vacations, etc. People always look up reviews on shit they buy so can be basically anything

I don't see much money in any of that, except the fat loss.

I would go with big items. You might not sell many, but when you get a sale, your cut will be huge. I've been working on a couple mainstream projects and my cut on sales is $125-500. Not rich yet, but long-term I think it's a better route.

If you're doing a review site, I assume you're doing Amazon. In that case, electronics pay terrible commissions. I suggest doing high ticket items - maybe watches, designer clothes, or something like that. I have a few websites selling power racks that do really well. ~20-50 per sale.

Is that $125-500 per sale?

Who's paying you that per sale?

Yes, per sale. I don't use those big networks, I work out deals with product/service owners.

What I would suggest is... build a site around a product, idea, service, anything like that... build up your traffic, create your own quality leads and your own "company" in itself. Then you take your leads/sales and push them off on whoever will pay you the most money.

If you're monetizing it via adsense, find a high paying niche then do reviews based on those.

Couple phone calls. It helps if you have a genuine interest in the product/service.

You can get $150+ selling Amazon products too and I know some people do, but you'll have to stick to the expensive items only; gadgets, etc. you make crumbs, but if you sell enough, it adds up

We have lots of health/beauty offers in our affiliate program, and we pay 30-50% per sale.

Along with our best-selling male and female sexual enhancement products, we also have products for anti-aging, wrinkles, stretch marks, hair loss, weight loss and other niches.

Amazon will get you $100 per sale on HDTV's...

I have had it happen where someone does this:

Buys HDTV - payout $120
blue ray DVD player - $18
5 DVD's - $12
coffee cup - $1
4 books - $3
--------------------
$153

Helps if you are interested in what you review. Usually people with review sites don't actually experience the thing they are reviewing either. It's hard to do a real review of vacations/hotels etc.

I plan on writing the reviews from personal experience or from the experience of friends and family. I know quite a lot about the fitness/health department so I could start there.

Amazon sounds good but I would have to set my targets on the higher priced products like tv's and other expensive electronics. I have a fair few electronics but I would definitely need help writing reviews for the differn't tv's.
