Some tips on how to get more traffic to your advertising campaigns - GoFuckYourself.com

Lately one of the questions we are answering on a daily basis is "How can I get MORE traffic???"

I thought some others might find this information useful and probably have other ideas to add.

(note for this thread I'm specifically answering how to get more traffic to a mobile advertising campaign - but the answers probably apply to website traffic campaigns too)

1. Increase your BID - we operate on a bidding system (as I know many other traffic providers do too) - increase your BID means your ad gets shown more therefore more clicks

2. Run more types of Ads - we offer banners, video page banners, redirects, text links, tab links and hardlinks. If your campaign is profitable on one type of traffic expand it to run on more if not all types of ad zones available.

3. Run more Ads & Landing pages - our system can run pretty much an unlimited number of banners - so run 20 instead of 5 - then manage the CTR (next point)

4. Watch the CTR (click through ratio) for all of your creatives!!! If a banner is getting a low CTR - disable it!!! Your high performing banners will then get more impressions therefore more clicks therefore more sales
(we do this for our clients weekly - audit & make recommendations on banner performance but I think many advertising platforms are self serve)

5. Lastly if you are running only in one country - consider expanding into other similar countries if applies to your offer. I.e. a USA campaign can usually expand into Canada & UK with similar sales results.

6) Make some interesting ads! I can't remember the last time I saw an adult ad that was interesting, enticing or amusing in any way at all!
