Linkspun advice please
Hey Everyone,
I have a blog I am working on with a lot of different categories. I am hoping I can get some advice on using LinkSpun. I have been holding off on using it because I am not sure if I can/should do links by page or site wide. Do people expect their links to be site wide or per page? I see only a few trades with .html so I am assuming the standard is to provide site wide links, but just want to be sure. I know this is a noobish question but I do appreciate any help with it. Thanks in advance. |

Depends on if the website you are trading with is a blog or not. Most blogs will give you a sitewide link, unless they have specifically set up their blog to only display links on the home page or another page.
The expectation is that the link will only be on one page.

Thanks for the info.
I saw a few html pages while skimming through the trades and I wasn't sure if I should just post different pages of the site per category (midget.php page in midget section etc) and put an php include to a links page that changes links based on category in the header. I didn't want to do that if it is frowned upon. Just those few .html pages i saw in the trades had me confused. I understand a bit more now thanks to you. Its a blog that has some modified morphing feeds on it for now, until I can write some of my own stuff for everything. Thanks again for your quick, informative response. |
