What are you all using for a redirecting users to a mobile version of your wp blog? I'm trying to get something together, but I would like to hear what other people are using.

				 | I send them to mobile sponsors... they seem to convert better that way then sending them to content related sponsors. |

				 | Second that! There is also another plugin that will redirect your mobile users to a different theme then desktop users. WP Mobile Direct I think it's called. I'm on my phone now or I would post the link.

				 | Here you go, I had the name wrong: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...s-mobile-pack/ I've tested this one with a few of my blogs and it works. I'm working on a mobile tube theme now using this plugin.

				 | Hmm from my experience when you change the theme, the widgets (in my case , it's mostly ads) stay the same, so if you redirect to a mobile theme, is it possible to load the new widgets too? (with mobile sponsors) |

				 | Are you trying to build a community blog or just get sales? I have found it more lucrative to redirect to a mobile paysite. Have done well with top bucks before. If people are finding you thru a search engine, they don't know what your site looks like anyway. They wouldn't really know the difference. But if you want a community, of people coming back and commenting etc. I see why the other way would work. I'm sure not everyone agrees with me. But its just my opinion. |
