Warning Regarding Fraudulent Reseller - GoFuckYourself.com

Unfortunately, it's recently come to our attention that we have been the victims of a fraudulent reseller. Luckily Verotel was able to catch it when someone didn't authorize a transaction and they've started an investigation.

The person in question goes by a few names: Le Van, Van Chuong Le and Chuong Le, most likely among others. He used sites like katevalue.com and pulpy.net and e-mails like [email protected] and [email protected]. Obviously he probably won't go for anything like that, but who knows how dumb this guy is?

We're a bit once bitten, twice shy about this, so we've taken down automatic affiliate approval temporarily while we resolve the issue.

If any of you run into this guy, shoot me a message. Hopefully we'll grill him before he strikes again, though.

Cut whatever country he is from out of your list of accepted countries. I would bet he's from Vietnam.

You have the Vietnam problem, if there's one there's likely many more in your program, just from my experience...

Is that worse than the Philippines problem? We've had that one and it sucks bad.

I figured out most of these guys patterns early on.. I ended up saving tons and tons on payouts for a few companies by my fraud review skills.. I'd suggest putting a message on your program in properly translated Vietnamese and Chinese, that "You will detect and not pay on fraud" That alone is a slight deterrent for some of them because they don't want to waste their time..

I think it'd be great if we could get that up in every language, actually. That's a good addition to our affiliate page. Thanks for the suggestion. We're definitely going to be on the offensive for these types of patterns from now on.

or chop it off at the knee... and not allow webmasters from Vietnam or China...
