clicked a banner for an organization called GirlEffect.org and this very moving Flash animation plays full screen. the animation work is worth watching, inspiring message - almost makes me want to donate.

That shocked me and made me sad..... how can a person who lives in poverty to visit a doctor if well educated specialists (doctors, teachers, engineers etc.) are going out seeking for a better life - out of the misery !? Living in a poverty is like in a magical circle - the people don't see light in the tunnel, they see each other's misery and the only solution is gettin married at 12, giving a birth at 15 and getting HIV to support their family. Which government will spare enough money to support such community or people - instead of thinking a better plan to stimulate their desire to live - job position, free education or medical service - FREE ?! Who would work for free if those people spared more than 5 years in college, University so they can have better lifestyle?

That add is awesomely made, but the things are more complicated than that.

that's true but the videos are made with a simple message to appeal to your heart and to inspire you to donate - poverty and lack of education is a major problem and the cycle just keeps repeating itself generation after generation. money if it ends up in the right hands can and does help in some places.

of course the video doesn't talk about the cultures and religions around the world that view girls as disposable and second class human beings.
