Your business partners and what works best for you?
Some of you are in the position to make obligatory posts being apart of an affiliate marketing program but to the rest of you mavericks, how many business partners/workers do you have that are equals with you (partners) or work for hire or perform a lesser role on your team?
I've got a guy that's pretty good and we compliment each other well. In just a little bit we're going to launch into a frenzy of developing a network of sites. Save the criticism on that though and don't state criticism until I decide to reveal them as such. Tell your business stories and how they came about. Sometimes it starts with a simple email for a small project that blossoms into something rather large. In the case of actor Johnny Load it started with contacted him based on his profile on xtube back in the day and we both had an interest in having women covered in copious amounts semen, still do. We didn't meet each (in person) other for neither 2 years from initial contact. ...of course I know some guys (names or references excluded) that mention old partners and I brought up "...soooo where are the now?." It turns out they don't shoot anymore because they took to mixing business with pleasure by doing things like making a myspace page, advertising to everyone what they do and throwing public parties. Then it's not too long where somebody catches wind, somebody gets pissed off, police show up and somebody ends up in jail or they get shut down entirely. Or the story of a guy that shot this mans wife for a scene in their upstairs, the girl moaned loudly for the scene to affect pleasure. The husband downstairs became enraged by the fact his wife was moaning and ran upstairs. He ripped the girl off by picking her up by her hair. He then went for the guy (producer friend) with a butter knife he had brought with him. Apparently he prodded enough to penetrate his abdomen and rupture his appendix. This was all over the fact that the girl didn't moan for the husband and not the wife. This producer has stated he is much more careful now. Got a little sidetracked there... anyway... For serious matters, what's work best for you in terms of your number of partners and people carrying their weight. Despite the above, responses regarding internet work are preferred but all responses are welcome. |

I've partnered with models to help make them money.
I've partnered with my old college professor in Australia, and a friend of his, to guide them in making a site. We signed all the legal paperwork and I got paid a retainer fee up front. In the end they didn't have the work ethic to move very far forward, and I was only there to advise and guide, not do the work for them. They ended up giving it up and all on good terms. For other work I hire people who are better then me at what they do, that's worth paying for |
