Advice needed on blocked sports domain name. - GoFuckYourself.com

I was looking for a domain name and found one on a domain auction, I jumped in and won it.all was great as I began setting my site up on EXAMPLE.com but then found it was blocked at my place of work. A check of archive.org shows that despite the name having nothing to do with adult, the previous owner had some softcore #*$! / bikini pictures on it. Due to that it appears it was flagged as pornography by content filtering sites.

I've since contacted Lightspeed System, Fortinet, M86 Security, Websense, Blue Coat Systems and URL Blacklist to have their ratings reviewed. 4 of the 6 have changed my domain to sports (and subsequently my site is no longer blocked at my work). I'm waiting to hear back from others. If anyone knows of any others please let me know.

The keyword/name is memorable and well known for the area I'm launching in, plus I've invested significantly in a custom logo and the initial auction. Changing names isn't really an option. I also really love the name now.

My site is going to be a sports blog, so a % of my potential readership will be using PC's at work or college.

So, taking this into account do you think I'm OK to launch as EXAMPLE.com or would it be safer to launch as EXAMPLE.net and have the .com re-direct to catch type in's.

use .com
fight to get off that lists...
they'll probably take you down more easily when they see working site that is not adult...
