I'm not so sure, most Brits couldn't give a damn about the olympics and just wish it would go away, we were promised so much but now find that half our competitors are immigrants of one sort or another, half of East London's roads is going to be blocked to non-officials and most of the promised building jobs went to the east europeans. On top of that, we'll be paying for the privalege of all this for years to come.
We still have the explosion of "tourists" not going home after the games are over to come - and to make it worse, the govenment have just announced that all immigrants can come to the UK for free HIV/AIDS treatment, you can guess what this will mean in real terms.
