Chargebacks Big Problem No Resolve

After all these years and all the new technology, who is minding the store anymore?

Being the little stores on the block and relying upon payment processors to collect our fees, and paying dearly for thier services - do u tink dey wood take the time to protect all of our interests when it comes to handling our financials?

CC cards, pin numbers, electronic sigs and cams where you take a pic of the card user - to prove the bone head is in the store are all measures to prevent theft of services.

And that is what it boils down too - a major crime anywhere else and nothing more than a course of doing business in the online adult community. Any other industry would be up in arms about being robbed by dubious purchasers or users of thier service.

Me it kind of ticks me off and I can't get no resolve.

Any views on this point - I'd like to hear them.

They've pushed all the costs on you. From what I understand some of them even make a profit on the fees charged to you due to the chargebacks. Why would they be anxious to fix it then? You're the one paying.

yeah I can't stand when I get a couple hundred dollars in sales, and then it all gets charged back. In this biz it seems like you go 2 steps forward and then 4 steps backwards.

I think it is tolerated out of fear in my opinion, since your selling porn you don't want any legal issues...so you just allow the fraud/charge backs.

What's the downside of making a list of these fucks that chargeback and posting on the Internet? Publish their names and addresses as frauds.

Visit www.chargebacks.eu - they have a network of collection agencies in five countries recovering the chargebacks for merchants.

No upfront costs, they split the monies recovered with you.

The problem is that not all chargebacks are fraud.

If somebody steals your card and goes on a spending spree, you will contact your bank report the card stolen and deny the charges and your bank will charge them back. Do you think it's fair in that case that your name and address get published on the internet as a fraudster?

Whilst I agree that some (not all) processors could try harder to protect the merchant, the responsibility for stopping chargebacks doesn't just fall on their shoulders. The merchant also has to keep an eye on things.

Unfortunately affiliates don't see enough information to be able to help out, but if you are an affiliate, and a sponsor you are promoting constantly hits you with too many chargebacks then you should be looking at finding another sponsor.

Nice self recommendation Nalem.

Chargebacks.eu has been discussed at length here before and anybody interested in this service should search for those previous threads.
