Geo Code for landing pages "in - State" .... - GoFuckYourself.com

Hope everyone is have a great thursday! uick question, does anyone know if some simple code exists that will allow me to add some sort of geo based message on my landing pages?

Example, if I wanted to have text that read, "The best free porn in STATE" or "CITY, STATE" dependent upon where you are located? Any ideas on how to do this?

I don't even know the terminology for it. I guess Geo Targeting Text Advertising....

something like MaxMind would help you do that easily.

Thanks! I did see this online. Is this something you would recommend using personally? Are there any downsides to doing so?

I've used maxmind before but not for local ads like that. It seems to work for the dating sites though, I can't see a downside to doing it really.

Maxmind CityLite isn't great. Maxmind City (paid) is OK. With the advent of Smartphones, GeoIP isn't that great. Googles' GeoLocation system is probably one of the best, but it is unlikely to be used in sites which don't have a nice bankroll.
