Lottery Club.

Would anyone be interested in playing the Powerball this week and maybe start a club to play it on a regular basis? It’s up to $110,000,000.00

I was thinking of forming a club or clubs (depending on the amount of people) to increase our chances of winning.

It’s perfectly legal and binding providing anyone that joins resides in a state within the USA that offers the Powerball lottery.

Powerball tickets are $2.00 each with a guaranteed starting jackpot of $40,000,000.00
Frequently the jackpots are over $100,000,000.00. This week it stands at $110,000,000.00.

The game is played by selecting five numbers from 1 through 59
and matching the Powerball number from 1 through 35

There are various prizes paid for matching 2, 3, 4 and 5 numbers
but to win the grand prize you must match all 5 top numbers and the Powerball.

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting our own Powerball Club.
It would increase our chances of winning and although the odds are still astronomic
it could be fun at a minimum expense.

This is how I was thinking of playing.
We would form clubs consisting of 40 shares.
Each share would be worth 1/40th of the prize or a guarantee of at least 1 million grand prize before taxes depending on the jackpot. (Approximately, and assuming we were the only winners) This week for example each share would be worth 2.75 million (Approximately, and assuming we were the only winners)

We would play 5 of the same numbers and tie them up with all of the 35 Powerball numbers. I selected and played these numbers 3, 11, 26, 33, 42, Powerball all
for the next drawing Wed, 10/31/12 and posted the tickets here.



Using this formula our chances of winning a grand prize is 1 in 5,006,386 compared to 1 in 175,223,510, We would also be guaranteed at least one winning ticket per draw but that only amounts to $4.00, but if we’re ever fortunate enough to hit the big one we would also have 34 second prizes worth $1,000,000.00 each.

If we decided to do this on a steady basis we would play it for 5 weeks at a time for a total of 10 games because Powerball is played twice a week. That’s a total of 700 games,
cost for each share will be $17.50 for the ten plays ($1.75 per play)

As I said I already purchased this Wednesdays’ tickets and if anyone wants to play the cost would be $1.75 per share. I would like to keep 4 shares for myself so that leaves 36 available shares.

for verification purposes and include your contact information so we can make arrangements for payment. I’d prefer a check or money order mailed but it must be postmarked no later than Wednesday 10/31/12. I also have a PayPal account but I have no idea of their charges and I have to net at least $1.75 for each share to cover my cost.

Also if anyone is interested in doing this on a steady basis (10 plays at a time) please let me know. If we have enough players I will prepare some bylaws for our club so we all have an understanding of exactly how it will function.

I would also appreciate if any of you would be willing to help with club if we did decide to do this.
