Pointer outers of hypocrisy relating to grieving for the Newtown 20 - GoFuckYourself.com

It's not just on GFY, it's everywhere, douchebags and some people I don't consider douchebags are pointing fingers at those who are expressing grief for the slaughtered children and teachers in Newtown, CT. "And what about the thousands of children killed by US drones in Afghanistan and Iraq?" "Of course THEY don't care about the brown ones" Even saw somebody on here bringing up the atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese almost 70 years ago.

They do have a point but we know the type of person who is pointing fingers, they are not worried about the brown ones either, they are only interested in pointing fingers. So why do people grieve publicaly for the Newtown victims? Because we identify with those children, those teachers, that town - that town, those children, that school, look like our own. They are our 'neighbors'. We are enthnocentric beings, the US moreso than other countries. But it exists in all countries. So what would the finger pointers be happy with? That we don't grieve for the 20 innocent six year olds slaughtered and their grief stricken families? That we grieve for them but that we also must grieve for all those children killed in war torn countries? And what about the MILLIONS of children throughout the world who are starving? The world would stop, progress would stop, this board filled with society's rejects and mental patients would stop because we would spend all our time grieving and saving and feeding every starving child on this planet before we did anything else, certainly before we produced and published photos and videos of fornicating people for profit.

The truth is that those who point fingers have no real interest in the dead and starving brown ones, I will guarantee you if I had their tax returns in my hands I'd see little or nothing given to charities of any kind. They hold others to standards that they don't live up to themselves. They suffer from arrested development, forever the know it all petulant teenager mouthing off 'yeah, well at least I'm not a damn phoney'. And while they might not be phonies, they're almost always useless.

Bottom line is it's better to grieve for some - than none. Anytime a human being feels and expresses empathy for others is a good thing, hypocrisy or not.
